This initiative is based on the long-standing regional economic cooperation framework between Tokyo and the State of Texas, and aims to strengthen business collaboration while fostering technology exchange and innovation in critical infrastructure sectors such as power, water, and disaster resilience.

The five selected companies offer practical, deployable, and immediately applicable solutions addressing urgent challenges faced by U.S. utilities and EPC contractors, including disaster resilience, clean and PFAS-compliant water treatment, energy efficiency, AI-enabled infrastructure maintenance, and low-carbon structural materials.
