Charbone Drives Gas Income Growth in Q2 2026

VARENNES, QUEBEC - August 5, 2026 (NEWMEDIAWIRE) - CHARBONE CORPORATION (TSXV: CH; OTCQB: CHHYF; FSE: K47) (“CHARBONE” or the “Company”), a vertically integrated industrial gases company focused on production, distribution and storage of clean ultra-high purity (“UHP”) hydrogen and other strategic industrial gases, today announced that preliminary gas income for the three-month period ending June 30, 2026 is expected to increase 155% to $0.5 million from gas income of $0.2 million for the prior three-month period ending March 31, 2026. Gas income relates to revenues across CHARBONE’s hydrogen production and regional supply hubs for all industrial gases. The Company anticipates releasing full financial and operational results for the second quarter ending June 30, 2026, on Friday, August 28, 2026, after markets close at the latest. In Q2 2026, CHARBONE is expected to confirm multiple industrial gas sales growth from both the U.S. and Canadian markets such as clean UHP hydrogen sourced from the Company’s own Sorel-Tracy plant in Phase 1A, and UHP helium and UHP oxygen sourced through partners. Demand has accelerated throughout Q2 2026 and is expected to result in increased recurring revenues and new customers. In the meantime, CHARBONE continues to expand its full-stack platform including distribution equipment to support growing demand and expected future sales growth from new and existing customers.

PRELIMINARY Q2 2026 GAS INCOME HIGHLIGHTS:

- Gas income is expected to increase 155% to $0.5 million in Q2 2026, compared to $0.2 million in Q1 2026.

- In the first half of 2026 for the 6-month period year-to-date through to Q2 2026, gas income is expected to increase 100% to $0.6 million from gas income of $nil in the first half of 2025.

- Operating expenses in Q2 2026 are expected to be relatively comparable to that of Q1 2026 with continuous performance improvements without significant changes.
