TEDxAtlanta 2026: Youth Voices Take Center Stage

TEDxAtlanta, Georgia's largest TED affiliate, has announced that tickets are now available now for its 2026 conference and the inaugural TEDxAtlanta Youth event. Taking place Oct. 2–3 at Atlanta International School's Sandy Springs campus, the conferences are centered on the theme "Bold. Brave. Unbreakable." The 2026 season marks the debut of TEDxAtlanta Youth, a platform designed for speakers ages 16 to 23, showcasing perspectives from a generation coming of age amid rapid technological advances, shifting social norms, and economic uncertainty. Jacqui Chew, TEDxAtlanta licensee, emphasized that young people are often discussed but rarely invited to lead conversations about the future. TEDxAtlanta Youth aims to change that by providing a stage for youth to contribute ideas and challenge assumptions.

Alongside the youth conference, TEDxAtlanta is significantly expanding its experience through the introduction of Explore Sessions. These sessions complement TED-style talks by offering interactive workshops, guided conversations, and a second stage. The popular Refresh Room returns, designed for introverts and those seeking rejuvenation through guided reflections. The combination of talks and Explore Sessions transforms TEDxAtlanta from a passive viewing event into an active participatory experience. For over 16 years, TEDxAtlanta has convened curious minds and bold thinkers, sharing more than 260 talks and performances, and has grown into a leading forum for innovation and creativity in the Southeast.

TEDxAtlanta Youth will take place on the afternoon of Oct. 3, immediately following the MainStage program, allowing attendees to experience ideas from established leaders and emerging voices in a single day.
