BHS Launches Modular Attachments for Order Picker Trucks

BHS, Inc., a St. Louis-based manufacturer of custom material handling equipment, has launched a new line of modular attachments for order picker trucks, designed to enhance safety, productivity, and flexibility in narrow-aisle warehouses. The new offerings include four product series: Modular Order Picker Carts, Modular Order Picker Platforms, Order Picker Furniture Carts, and Order Picker Furniture Platforms. The Modular Order Picker Carts feature heavy-duty casters, enabling them to double as pushcarts for ground-level inventory management, while the platforms function solely as truck attachments. The furniture variants are sized to fit longer forks of furniture order picker trucks.

The key innovation lies in the modular design, which allows users to adjust shelf spacing, remove shelves, or add rails and guarding with standard tools, creating a custom work platform without the delays of made-to-order solutions. BHS ensures custom sizing to eliminate gaps or offsets between the platform and the operator deck, reducing tripping hazards. These bolt-on components ship faster than fully custom equipment, offering tailored performance with shorter lead times.
