Trussell's Transformations Marks 20 Years of Remodeling Excellence

Trussell's Transformations, a family-owned remodeling company serving Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and the surrounding communities, is celebrating 20 years in business this September. Founded in 2006 by Danny Trussell and a business partner with just a truck and a garage workspace, the company has grown into a team of 17 employees and completed approximately 8,500 projects. What began as a kitchen and bathroom remodeling operation has expanded to include a granite fabrication shop opened in 2008, a move to its current Albuquerque location in 2015, and the addition of cabinet lines in 2017. Today, Trussell's offers a full slate of home improvement services, including cabinets, granite and quartz countertops, flooring, roofing, and other residential upgrades, all under one roof.

A key differentiator for the company is its commitment to using its own employees for most in-home work, rather than rotating subcontractors. This ensures homeowners see the same faces throughout a project, with one team accountable for the entire job. Danny and Christy Trussell currently own the company, which holds a New Mexico GB-98 general contractor's license and is a member of both the Home Builders Association of Central New Mexico and the Natural Stone Institute. "Trussell's has always been more than a business to us," Danny Trussell said. "Our kids basically grew up in this business. A lot of our employees have been with us so long they feel like family at this point, and honestly, plenty of our customers have turned into friends too."

To mark the milestone, Trussell's invites homeowners to visit its Albuquerque showroom at 8023 Edith Blvd NE, where they can explore cabinet styles, granite and quartz slabs, hardware finishes, and flooring samples. The showroom is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with no appointment necessary. The company also offers flexible financing options with quick approval and predictable monthly payments, aiming to help homeowners stop waiting for "someday" and start living in the home they want now. Looking ahead, co-owner Christy Trussell says, "Twenty years makes us incredibly proud of where we've been, but we're also excited about what comes next. We want to keep helping families create homes that aren't just beautiful, but truly work better for the way they live."
