PXG Unveils Next-Gen Secret Weapon Mini Driver

PXG has unveiled the next generation of its Secret Weapon® Mini Driver, a compact 300cc club designed to offer driver-like distance with the control of a fairway wood. The new model builds on PXG’s Lightning® lineup technologies, featuring a face that is over 4-percent thinner than its predecessor, a refined internal sole structure, and optimized weighting to deliver faster ball speeds and tighter dispersion. According to PXG Director of Woods R&D Caleb Kroloff, the thinner face and reinforced sole work in tandem to save weight that is repositioned to the perimeter, increasing moment of inertia for more consistent performance on off-center hits. PGA TOUR professional Jake Knapp, who had high expectations after loving the original, praised the new version for its added speed and forgiveness, calling it an easy decision to put in the bag.

The Secret Weapon Mini Driver incorporates PXG’s Precision Weighting Technology with four adjustable weight ports (heel, toe, front, and back) initially set with two 7.5-gram and two 2.5-gram weights, allowing golfers to fine-tune shot shape, spin, and swing weight. An adjustable hosel further enables control over launch and trajectory.
