Martial Arts Museum Offers Free Year-Round Admission to Military Families

The Martial Arts History Museum in Glendale, CA, has been officially accepted into the prestigious Blue Star Museums program, a national initiative led by the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Blue Star Families and the Department of Defense. While the standard program offers free summer admission to active-duty military personnel and their families, the museum is going above and beyond by providing free, unlimited year-round admission to these service members and up to five family members. This generous offer extends to all active-duty personnel across every branch, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Space Force, National Guard, Reserves, and the U.S. Public Health Service and NOAA Commissioned Corps.

Museum President Michael Matsuda, whose father served in the military and whose father-in-law was a member of the renowned 442nd Regimental Combat Team in World War II, expressed deep personal motivation for this initiative.
