Canary Gold Hits Thick Paleochannel System at Madeira River Project

Canary Gold Corp. (CSE: BRAZ; OTCQB: CNYGF; Frankfurt: K5D) has announced significant progress at its Madeira River Gold Project in Rondônia, Brazil. Recent deeper drilling has intersected thick intervals of mature coarse sediments, including gravels and sands, up to 20 metres thick. These findings support the interpretation of a large-scale paleochannel system covering approximately 7 kilometres by 5 kilometres, extending eastward from the present-day Madeira River. The drilling program has completed 21 reverse circulation (RC) holes on a 1-kilometre grid and 14 PQ-diameter holes on 250-metre infill sections, with analytical results pending.

To bolster its technical team, Canary has engaged internationally recognized geologist-engineer Clara Maria Lamus Molina, a specialist in alluvial gold evaluation. With over 20 years of experience, including work with Mineros S.A. in Colombia, Ms. Molina will assist in refining sampling, QA/QC, and resource evaluation protocols. Her expertise is crucial for coarse gold environments, where representative sampling is challenging. President Mark Tommasi emphasized the importance of building a robust framework as the paleochannel system emerges.

The Madeira River Project spans 80 kilometres of prospective tenure, with current exploration testing only a fraction of the land package. The company continues to focus on defining paleochannel geometry and gold-bearing horizons. While no resource has been defined, the engagement of Ms. Molina and the drilling results underscore Canary's commitment to advancing the project toward potential NI 43-101 resource estimates. Coarse gold bearing gravels recovered from the project bear similarities to those from active dredging operations, highlighting the deposit's potential.
