UGI Utilities' system upgrades originally scheduled to begin this week in Hazle Township, Luzerne County are now rescheduled for next year. The gas main replacement is part of UGI’s commitment to provide safe and reliable service. The work also provides opportunities for some homes and businesses along the project route to convert to natural gas.

The gas main replacement will be along Route 940 between Hillside Drive and Christine Road.
