UGI Electric Division Files Base Rate Increase Request
for immediate release - march 27, 2026
UGI Electric Division (UGI Electric) today filed a request with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) to increase its base rates for electric distribution service to customers by $17.3 million annually. The base rate increase would recover costs for completed system and information technology improvements, while funding additional upgrades necessary for customer service and reliable electric service.
