The announcement celebrates the impressive achievements of the inaugural cohort and the growing momentum of Utah's healthcare innovation ecosystem.

• SPARC Health demonstrates the power of collaborative healthcare innovation within Utah's life sciences ecosystem. The Startup Platform for Advice, Resources, and Community bring together Park City Angels, BioUtah, BioHive, and the Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity to create a comprehensive support system that accelerates healthcare startup growth through targeted programming, mentorship, and capital access.
• SPARC Health's inaugural cohort validates the accelerator's proven model for healthcare startup success. Nine health tech companies completed the comprehensive program, raising over $1M in funding, creating 14 jobs, and achieving notable milestones including competition wins and significant revenue growth.
• Applications for the second cohort open this month, with the program launching February 5th, 2026. Building on lessons learned from the inaugural cohort, SPARC Health's proven 10-module curriculum continues to address the critical challenges that prevent startups from reaching their full potential: poor product-market fit, cash flow problems, and team assembly issues.
