“We congratulate this year’s award winners for their cutting-edge innovations and pioneering work to change patients’ lives,” said Kelvyn Cullimore, president and CEO of BioUtah. “The judges faced a difficult decision in choosing the winners.”
The shark-tank style competition featured twelve Utah life sciences companies selected from an initial group of 37 applicants. Presenters were divided into four groups with pitches judged by a panel of three judges.
The E&I Summit brought together Utah’s life sciences industry and the investor community for a full day of content-rich programming especially designed for entrepreneurs and startups. The Pitch Competition provides an opportunity for local healthcare innovators to showcase their novel products before industry experts, investors, and venture capital firms.
All applicants were offered the opportunity to exhibit virtually or on site at the E&I Summit’s Innovation Hall.
