Jerry Townsley's life is defined by decades of dedicated public and military service. A graduate of Milford High School (Class of 1961), Townsley entered military service shortly after graduation, spending four years on active duty with the United States Navy stationed aboard the aircraft carrier USS Forrestal (CVA-59). Following his naval deployment, Townsley continued his military commitment with 20 years in the United States Air Force stationed at Rickenbacker Air Force Base.
