J.D. Power Ranks Genesis Second in Initial Quality as New Schererville Showroom Debuts

Genesis of Schererville has opened its new nearly 25,000-square-foot showroom at 5800 W Lincoln Hwy, Schererville, IN 46375, establishing a dedicated retail facility for one of the automotive industry's fastest-growing luxury brands.

"We wanted to create a dealership that truly reflects what Genesis has become," said Kelly Webb Roberts, president of Genesis of Schererville. "This project has been years in the making, and it's the most premium facility our family has ever built in our more than 50 years of serving Northwest Indiana."

The showroom is designed around the Genesis philosophy of modern luxury, incorporating expansive natural light, a dedicated interior Zen garden, and a hospitality-centered environment rooted in Genesis' son-nim philosophy - the practice of treating every visitor as an honored guest.

The facility includes 12 service bays staffed by Genesis-certified technicians. A glass wall separating the customer lounge from the shop floor allows vehicle owners to observe their car being serviced. Four Level 3 DC fast chargers are available on the lot around the clock, seven days a week.

Genesis vehicles feature available Nappa leather seating, premium audio systems, expansive OLED displays, panoramic glass roofs, fingerprint authentication, Remote Smart Parking Assist, massage-equipped driver's seats, and advanced driver-assistance technologies.

Beyond the vehicles themselves, ownership includes "The Genesis Experience" - a program covering complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles and Genesis Service Valet. Through that service, Genesis of Schererville retrieves a customer's vehicle from their home or workplace, provides a Genesis loaner vehicle if needed, completes the required service, and returns the vehicle upon completion.

First owners of 2023 and newer Genesis models also receive complimentary Genesis Connected Services, which include Enhanced Roadside Assistance, Remote Start with Climate Control, Stolen Vehicle Recovery, and additional connected features accessible at any time.

Warranty coverage spans five years or 60,000 miles for the new vehicle and 10 years or 100,000 miles for powertrain components - among the longest coverage terms available in the luxury segment.

Genesis of Schererville carries the full Genesis lineup, including the G70, G80, and G90 sedans; GV70, GV80, and GV80 Coupe SUVs; GV60, Electrified GV70, and Electrified G80, as well as Genesis Certified Pre-Owned vehicles. Models arriving in the near term include the GV90, GV80 Hybrid, GV70 Hybrid, and GV70 EREV.

The new location replaces Genesis of Merrillville, with all sales, service, and parts operations now consolidated at the Schererville facility. Existing service records, warranty information, and scheduled appointments transferred to the new location, which continues to operate under the same phone number.

Sales hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Service and Parts hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
