The Sounds We Share Project Launches: The First Kids' Music Channel Where No Child Is a Foreigner

Traditionally, children's songs are bound by language barriers. The Sounds We Share, launching now at thesoundsweshare.com and on YouTube, erases it. The channel's songs contain no words in any language. Instead, they are composed from the hums, pops, rolls, and whooshes humans everywhere use to speak. The songs require no dubbing or translation. Every child on Earth hears the same song the same way.

The Sounds We Share is a children's music channel whose songs use speech sounds from the world's languages instead of words.

Why wordless music works for young children

Babies are born able to hear and distinguish the full range of human speech sounds. As they grow, their brains specialize in the sounds they hear at home every day. Research shows that babies start life able to hear speech differences from languages around the world. During the first year, their brains begin specializing in the sounds they hear most often, a process called perceptual narrowing. The Sounds We Share builds its songs inside that early window, pairing playful speech sounds with one simple movement per song that families can do together: bounce, march, twirl, sway, or rock.

The channel is deliberate about what it does not claim. Its songs will not make a child bilingual or smarter, and the brand says so on its own website. What it promises instead: playful early sound exposure, listening, imitation, movement, and music children beg to replay.

A 15 year idea that had to wait for the technology

Creator Bryan Eisenberg began his career as an educator and social worker before becoming a digital marketing pioneer and New York Times bestselling author. At Wizard Academy in Austin, Texas, he encountered the science of phonemes, the universal building blocks of spoken language, and the idea never let go.

"Before children learn words, they learn sounds," said Eisenberg. "Words sometimes divide us. The sounds underneath them belong to everyone. After decades of waiting for the right technology, I created this channel with the dream of singing these songs with my grandchildren."

Meet the Sound Explorers

The songs live in a connected world of magical Sound Lands explored by three characters: Mavi, the blue Sound Explorer who discovers every new sound first; Kado, the orange Rhythm Explorer who turns every discovery into a bounce, clap, or dance; and Lila, the lavender Melody Explorer who transforms single sounds into melody and calm.

Season One launches in two collections. Sound Adventures delivers daytime energy and family movement. Dream Sounds delivers gentle lullabies with rain, ocean waves, and the softest sounds human voices make, built for rocking and sleep.

AI-made, human-judged, plainly disclosed

The music and animation are produced with a number of AI tools, including Suno and Gemini then shaped and quality-gated by humans. The channel discloses this openly on its website. Every song must pass one test before it ships: would a child ask to hear it again, and would a parent survive the tenth replay?

"Families deserve two things kids' media rarely gives them: honesty about how the content is made and honesty about what it can do," said Eisenberg. "We put both on the front page."

“I have been pleasantly surprised by reactions from parents, kids and even neuroscientist researchers that have seen the videos.”
