Texas Venture Fest Unites Statewide Innovation Ecosystem on October 1

On October 1, 2026, the 4th Annual Texas Venture Fest will bring together more than 3,500 entrepreneurs, investors, and community leaders across 10-plus cities and 20-plus venues. As the largest state-focused innovation experience in Lone Star State history, this co-created signature event celebrates local startup communities while linking them into a single, unified statewide network.

Driven by a diverse coalition of venture capital firms, accelerators, universities, economic development corporations, and civic organizations, the festival showcases how Texas collaborates across regional lines to power economic growth. This year's overarching theme, "Innovation is Statecraft," frames entrepreneurial innovation as a strategic engine for the state's economy and national leadership.

Starting in 2022 as the Austin Venture Crawl with 700 attendees, Texas Venture Fest has rapidly expanded statewide. In 2023, the event expanded to 10 cities and 2,000 participants, and in 2024 it surpassed 3,000 attendees alongside the debut of the Texan's Choice Awards. By 2025, the festival convened 3,500 participants across 25 venues. This year, the festival expands further as an anchor event of Texas Startup & Tech Week, reinforcing the state’s position as a premier global hub for innovation.
