Comedian Myq Kaplan will record a new live stand-up album at Acme Comedy from May 6 through May 9, 2026.

The upcoming recording, tentatively titled “An Alphabet Album At Acme,” uses a structured format built around the 26 letters of the alphabet. The performance delivers 26 distinct comedic segments across a one-hour set.

Kaplan, known for appearances on late-night television and his independent comedy specials, continues to experiment with format while keeping his signature wordplay and introspective style.

Each night of the run will contribute to the final audio recording, giving audiences a chance to be part of the finished project.

“This is one of the most structured shows I’ve built,” said Kaplan. “Twenty-six letters, twenty-six ideas, one hour. It gives the audience something to follow while still being surprised.”
