Beijing has released a new renewable energy blueprint for the rest of the decade that will see China aiming to reach 3.5 terawatts (TW) of installed green energy capacity by decade’s end. Published by the National Energy Administration and the National Development and Reform Commission, the blueprint puts China’s combined wind and solar capacity at 2.8 TW by 2030, with renewable energy output countrywide reaching six trillion kilowatt-hours annually.
