LOS ANGELES, CA, August 06, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The East Hollywood community gathered at the Church of Scientology Los Angeles on Tuesday evening to celebrate National Night Out, joining thousands of communities across the United States participating in the annual campaign to strengthen neighborhood relationships, promote public safety awareness and foster community engagement.

National Night Out is a nationwide community-building initiative supported by approximately 16,000 communities. The event is designed to enhance neighborhood camaraderie, strengthen partnerships between residents and first responders, and encourage community involvement as a means of creating safer and more connected neighborhoods.

The Church of Scientology Los Angeles hosted a family-friendly celebration that brought together residents of all ages for an afternoon of activities and entertainment. Young attendees enjoyed carnival games, a bouncy house, face painting, popcorn, cotton candy and a water slide, while families had the opportunity to meet neighbors and strengthen community ties.

The event began with the singing of the National Anthem and included special recognition of firefighters from Los Angeles Fire Department Station 35. The firefighters were presented with a Certificate of Recognition in appreciation of their dedication and service to the residents of Los Angeles.
