DFW Car and Toy Museum Welcomes Antique Toy Collectors of America for its Annual Convention on May 5, 2025

FORT WORTH, TX, March 11, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fort Worth's newest museum, the DFW Car and Toy Museum with more than 200 cars and 3000 toys is pleased to welcome the Antique Toy Collectors of America for its annual convention at our facility on May 5, 2025.

The Antique Toy Collectors of America is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Founded in 1965, its original members were from the United States, but it now has members from around the world. The members collect antique toys, representing a wide variety of interests and tastes in toy collecting.

The DFW car and toy museum has one of the largest collections of toys in America dating to the late 19th century and includes many early German toys, including those made by Marklin, Tippco and American and Japanese toys. They also have early patent models, salesman samples, a Monopoly gallery with early Monopoly games and lots of Robots and model race cars.

Club members will be allowed to browse the entire collection and encouraged to take pictures.

About the Dfw Car and Toy Museum
The museum was founded by Ron Sturgeon in the 1980's collecting automobile toys and cars. Until recently, it was in Haltom City, TX, and its website dfw elite toy museum was the go-to source for toy and car lovers worldwide. The museum is located in North Fort Worth at 2550 McMillan Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76137. (at Meacham and I35w) Sturgeon started his automotive business in Haltom city 50 years ago working on VW bugs, and the museum has more than 35 Volkswagens. The new facility has 150,000 square feet, 200+ cars and 3,000+ toys and, with free parking & admission, promises an entertaining visit. They offer secure climate-controlled car storage and facilities for events, including car clubs, board meetings etc. The museum is also dog friendly and encourages pictures.
