XMLITE WP430 Rain-Resistant Beam Light Thrives in Indoor and Outdoor Events

XMLITE, a professional moving head beam light manufacturer based in Guangzhou, China, is reporting continued strong sales of its WP430 rain-resistant moving head beam light, even as the market sees a surge in higher-protection outdoor fixtures. The company attributes this success not to a higher IP rating, but to the WP430's unique ability to serve both outdoor concerts and noise-sensitive indoor events such as corporate conferences, theater productions, and weddings. For event rental companies, this dual functionality means the same fixture can be deployed across a wider range of bookings, from loud festivals to quiet ballrooms, without becoming intrusive.

At the heart of the WP430's design is a two-inlet, two-outlet circulating airflow system with dual blowers, which distributes heat more efficiently and reduces reliance on high fan speeds. This allows for quieter operation and adjustable noise settings, addressing a critical pain point in indoor productions where fan noise can be picked up by microphones or heard by nearby audiences. The fixture is powered by a 420W OSRAM light source, produces a narrow 2.2-degree beam, and delivers 12,500 lumens with 330,000 lux at 10 meters. It supports 16- and 20-channel modes, linear focus, electronic dimming, mechanical strobe, dual prisms, and prism-superposition effects, all in a 23 kg package designed for touring efficiency. XMLITE also emphasizes serviceability with a glue-free construction that simplifies maintenance, helping rental companies reduce downtime and extend the interval between light-source replacements.

As an outdoor stage lighting manufacturer, XMLITE believes buyers are increasingly evaluating fixtures beyond maximum weather protection, focusing instead on utilization, transportability, and acoustic performance. The WP430's continued market performance suggests that quiet operation is becoming a core commercial value for multi-scenario rental businesses. XMLITE, operated by Guangzhou Xiangming Light Limited, manufactures a wide range of stage lighting products at its 20,000-square-meter facility and offers a three-year warranty program. For rental companies comparing waterproof moving head light options, the WP430 represents a balance of outdoor resilience and indoor suitability that can maximize return on investment.
