Vinhomes Green Paradise Named First Official Participant in New7Wonders Future Cities Campaign

Vinhomes Green Paradise in Can Gio, Vietnam, has been named the first Official Participant worldwide in New7Wonders' "7 Wonders of Future Cities" campaign, a recognition that underscores the project's ambitious vision for sustainable urban living. The development, spanning 2,870 hectares with a building density of just 16%, is designed to integrate nature and urban life, anchored by an 800-hectare natural saltwater lagoon and bordering the UNESCO-recognized Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve. According to Media OutReach Newswire, the project excels across three core pillars: Environment & Nature, Smart Cities, and People-Centered Development. It leverages IoT, big data, and AI for urban management and environmental monitoring, while offering world-class amenities including healthcare through Vinmec's collaboration with Cleveland Clinic, education via Vinschool and Brighton College, and leisure options like the Blue Waves Theatre and VinWonders complex.

Jean-Paul de la Fuente, Director of New7Wonders and Chairman of the campaign, praised Vinhomes Green Paradise for fulfilling the campaign's key criteria and reflecting the pioneering mission of a leading Asian corporation that is proactively delivering on its ESG commitments. The project goes beyond conventional sustainability with an enhanced ESG++ framework built on five pillars: Environmental, Social, Governance, Regeneration, and Climate Adaptation. It employs innovative technologies like K-DPM to transform soft soil into durable fill material, targets 100% clean energy from offshore wind and solar, and designs internal mobility around a net-zero-emission model.
