Legendary Kenny Bernstein's 1988 Buick Reatta NHRA Funny Car Joins DFW Museum

The DFW Car & Toy Museum is now home to a legendary piece of drag racing history, the 1988 Buick Reatta NHRA Funny Car, famously driven by Kenny Bernstein, the 'King of Speed'. This car, adorned in its iconic Budweiser King livery, marks the culmination of Bernstein's four consecutive NHRA Funny Car Championships from 1985 to 1988. Ron Sturgeon, the museum's founder, highlights the car's significance as a symbol of Bernstein's dominance in the sport before his transition to Top Fuel. Although the car's engine is non-operational, its presence is a powerful reminder of the golden era of NHRA racing.
