His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri, and Her Majesty Olori Atuwatse III have launched a cultural identity movement and digital platform called Iam Itsekiri. This initiative aims to unite Itsekiri people worldwide around their shared heritage and sense of belonging. The movement is set to be officially launched soon under the authority of the Palace of the Warri Kingdom, and it will feature a media-driven cultural campaign and a dedicated mobile application that serves as a digital gathering place for the community.

The core message of the movement is encapsulated in the meaning of the name Itsekiri: "blessing surrounds us." The platform seeks to strengthen identity, pride, and unity among Itsekiri people while extending that sense of belonging to friends and allies of the kingdom. The movement welcomes three groups: those born Itsekiri, those who became part of the family through marriage, and friends of Itsekiri who identify with their values. This inclusive approach broadens participation while preserving cultural pride.

The Iam Itsekiri application will function as a digital village, providing users with updates from the Palace and the kingdom, connecting Itsekiris globally, and offering cultural content on language, traditions, customs, and cuisine. The app will be available on the Apple Store and Google Play Store.
