Hong Kong's Twin Jewellery Shows Debut Hard Pure Gold Pavilion in 2026

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is set to host the world's largest one-stop jewellery marketplace in early March 2026 through its "Two Shows, Two Venues" format. The 12th Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show will run from March 2-6 at AsiaWorld-Expo, focusing on raw materials, while the 42nd Hong Kong International Jewellery Show will be held from March 4-8 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, showcasing finished pieces. The Hall of Fame at the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show returns with a 40% expansion, spotlighting international brands like Turkish diamond jewellery brand Zen Diamond and Hong Kong exhibitors Continental Diamond Company and Unique Brilliant Ltd, which unveil pieces like an 18K gold ring set with blue and light pink diamonds and a ruby necklace displaying the coveted "pigeon blood red" colour.

The events emphasize cultural heritage and creative design, with exhibitors like Guangdong JIABAO Pavilion Jewellery presenting an 18K gold, handmade filigree butterfly brooch using national intangible heritage craft, and Shenzhen Meifei Precious Metals Co Ltd blending traditional gold techniques with modern design in its "Palatial Modern Chinese Style" series. Competitions such as the Hong Kong International Fashion Chuk Kam Jewellery Design Competition 2026 and the inaugural International Fei Cui Jewellery Design Competition 2026 encourage culturally rich creations for young markets in ASEAN and the Middle East. Additionally, over 20 forums will cover hot topics like AI and digital marketing, including a seminar on "The Origins of Style: Tracing the Imprint of Time and Craftsmanship" by British historian Dr. Jack Ogden.
