FWD Group Marks 13 Years with 13,000+ Community Grants Across Asia

FWD Group Holdings Limited (“FWD Group” or “FWD”) celebrated its 13th anniversary by announcing charitable grants that will benefit more than 13,000 people across Asia. The company, established in 2013 with a mission to transform the life insurance industry, has grown from its initial operations in Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, and Thailand into a pan-Asian life and health insurer serving millions across 10 markets. In July 2025, FWD Group achieved a major milestone with its listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under the stock code 1828.

The 13 grants will support initiatives in financial literacy, career readiness, entrepreneurship, health and wellbeing, and community recovery. Key programs include extending the JA SparktheDream Wellness Programme with Junior Achievement Hong Kong to equip 2,600 primary school students with essential skills, and supporting recovery efforts for the Tai Po fire through football-based programs with Save the Children Hong Kong and psychosocial support with Plan International Hong Kong. In Cambodia, JCI Mekong will provide financial education to 200 young people, while in Indonesia, KUMPUL will empower 10 female entrepreneurs through InnovateHer Academy 4.0. Japan will see football clinics for visually impaired individuals with Hands On Tokyo, and Malaysia will benefit from health and financial literacy workshops for 170 low-income families via GivingHub. In the Philippines, Junior Achievement will help 100 university students transition to the workforce, and Singapore's Club Rainbow will host a carnival for children with chronic illnesses. Thailand will extend career readiness scholarships with Pimali Foundation and expand JA SparktheDream with Junior Achievement Thailand. Vietnam will see financial literacy workshops for 800 students and 76 computers provided to schools in Khanh Hoa Province through Little Roses Foundation.
