Florida Gateway College Foundation Aims for $140K in Annual Auction

The Foundation for Florida Gateway College has launched its 3rd Annual Giving Day Experience Auction with an ambitious goal of raising $140,001 to support student scholarships, campus programs, and educational initiatives. Running from November 11 to November 18, 2025, this week-long fundraising event offers the community three distinct ways to contribute: making direct donations through the Foundation's official giving portal, bidding on exclusive experiences and packages in the online auction, or establishing new endowment funds with generous matching opportunities. The auction features remarkable items including a military fighter pilot flight experience in a vintage warbird aircraft, luxurious travel vacation packages to both local and international destinations, and an Ultimate Pro Sports Fan Getaway package, along with handcrafted goods and other unique offerings.

Rebecca Golden, Director of Resource Development at the Foundation, emphasized the organization's commitment to ensuring financial barriers don't prevent students from accessing education at Florida Gateway College. A particularly compelling opportunity involves endowment creation - any general scholarship or vocational scholarship endowment starting at $12,500 receives dollar-for-dollar matching, instantly transforming into a $25,000 fund that creates lasting educational legacies.
