Burrow & Associates Launches $1,000 Road to Recovery Scholarship

Burrow & Associates, LLC, a Georgia-based law firm, has announced the launch of its new Road to Recovery Scholarship, offering $1,000 to a student who demonstrates a commitment to helping others through difficult times. The scholarship is open to students enrolled in or accepted to accredited U.S. undergraduate, graduate, or professional programs, including community college students, high school seniors, and GED holders. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and submit an essay of 1,000 words or less responding to prompts about helping others through injury, illness, and hardship, along with a resume and unofficial transcript. The deadline is August 31, 2027, and the recipient will be announced on October 1, 2027.

The scholarship is intentionally broad, welcoming students from any field of study, not just law. It recognizes those who have provided care for a family member after an accident, volunteered with individuals healing from injury or illness, or helped a neighbor recover from a tough year. Founding attorney Darrell L. Burrow emphasized that recovery often depends on the support of others, and this scholarship aims to honor students who have taken real action to help others rebuild.
