18 NFL Legends to Headline GGFE Event in BC, May 2027

The Global Gridiron Football Experience (GGFE) has partnered with Home Building Centre in Vernon and Salmon Arm to bring 18 NFL Legends to British Columbia for a week-long series of football, community, and entertainment events from May 20–28, 2027. The announcement, made by GGFE founder Lance Heron, promises an extraordinary opportunity for children, coaches, families, and football fans to meet, learn from, and interact with individuals who have reached the pinnacle of professional football. The centerpiece of the experience will be youth football camps and coaching clinics from May 21–24, where young athletes and local coaches will receive direct instruction and mentorship from NFL Legends.

Beyond the gridiron, the week will feature a diverse array of activities including autograph sessions, meet-and-greets, golf with NFL Legends, VIP experiences, a dinner gala, and special community events. The partnership underscores a shared commitment to supporting children, families, and communities throughout the region. Heron emphasized, “Having Home Building Centre step forward as a major partner is incredibly important to what we are trying to accomplish. This isn’t simply about bringing 18 NFL Legends to British Columbia. It’s about creating opportunities for children, educating coaches, supporting our communities, and creating an experience that people will remember for the rest of their lives.” The events are also expected to draw visitors to Vernon, Salmon Arm, and the surrounding area, benefiting local hotels, restaurants, retailers, and tourism operators.

GGFE is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to using sport to educate and inspire children and coaches, promote safer participation in sport, and celebrate local communities and culture.
