Comedy Village Returns to New York Comedy Festival for Third Year

Comedy Village returns to the 2026 New York Comedy Festival for a third year, hosting Jimmy Cash, Lance Weiss, Billie Lee and more in Hell's Kitchen this November.

This announcement signals that New York's stand-up scene remains a powerful economic and cultural engine, with a hometown club like Comedy Village helping anchor a festival that draws fans from around the world. For comedy lovers, it means an intimate, accessible way to see both established headliners and the next generation of stars in one of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods. For the industry, it reinforces how festivals connect emerging talent with major platforms, and how venues like Comedy Village—with roots going back to 2004 and alumni including Dave Chappelle and Bill Burr—continue to shape careers. As tourism and live entertainment rebound, multi-week events like this spread business across Hell's Kitchen and Times Square, supporting local restaurants and businesses while cementing New York's identity as the comedy capital of the world.
