Engineer Meenakshi Dhar Bridges Faith and Science in New Book

Engineer Meenakshi Dhar's new book Living With Both explores faith and science as complementary, not conflicting, offering a path to meaning and resilience.

This news matters because it offers a thoughtful counter-narrative to the increasingly polarized debate between science and religion. In a time when public discourse often frames these domains as enemies, Dhar's perspective provides a framework for intellectual humility and mutual respect. Her personal experience of grief and her professional background in engineering and space technology lend credibility to her argument that science and faith answer different kinds of questions. By welcoming doubt and examining certainty, the book encourages readers to embrace complexity rather than retreat into dogmatism. As technological advancements continue to reshape our world, the search for meaning becomes ever more urgent. Living With Both speaks to anyone grappling with existential questions, offering a path toward resilience and understanding that honors both reason and faith.
