With young people like Aminata wondering if the online economy is within reach, the webinar offers a platform to address practical challenges such as unreliable power and the ethical adoption of AI. By bringing together experts in education, cybersecurity, and clean energy, SADC is fostering a dialogue that could shape policies and opportunities for thousands of young Africans. Moreover, the upcoming Heritage & Legacy Tour and the LifeStraw partnership demonstrate SADC’s commitment to tangible community development, from safe water in schools to investment in local heritage. For the diaspora and global audience, this is a chance to engage with Sierra Leone’s growth story and contribute to sustainable change. The event underscores that technology alone is not enough—it is people, skills, and institutions that truly transform societies.
