This initiative made possible through the generosity of the annual Ronnie Randall Memorial Golf Tournament, serves as a cornerstone of the SBJS Foundation's ongoing commitment to investing in the future of healthcare. The program’s goal is to provide much-needed financial assistance to students who aspire to pursue careers in healthcare-related fields, empowering the next generation of leaders in the Wiregrass area.
Empowering Students Through EducationThe 2025 scholarship program is open to students residing in the counties of Barbour, Coffee, Covington, Crenshaw, Dale, Geneva, Henry, Houston, and Pike who are determined to make a difference in the healthcare industry. The program’s mission is to alleviate the financial burdens associated with higher education by offering scholarships that help students pursue their academic dreams in healthcare.

- Please note that SBJS employees and their immediate families are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
How to Apply
The application process is straightforward on the foundation website sbjsfoundation.com, requiring just two steps:
- Write an Essay: Students are asked to submit an original essay of no more than 1,000 words, addressing the prompt: "What is the most significant challenge facing your generation, and what solutions would you propose to address it?" This prompt encourages students to reflect on the challenges of their time and demonstrate their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Submit the Application: Once the essay is complete, students must fill out the scholarship application form and upload their essay online no later than March 31, 2025. The online application platform will provide detailed instructions for submitting the required materials.
