Miami, FL – September 2025 – Florida Education Institute (FEI.edu) is excited to announce a series of delectable and community-oriented events taking place this week, spotlighting the culinary talent of its students and faculty while fostering community connections through the love of food.The first event kicks off with a collaboration between FEI’s Culinary Arts program and Univision, one of Miami’s leading television networks. Students are gaining invaluable real-world experience by catering a special studio event, showcasing their skills and creativity to media professionals. This partnership is a testament to FEI’s commitment to practical learning and community engagement, bringing students' talents to the forefront.On Thursday, FEI invites students to a casual pizza gathering on campus, offering complimentary pizza to promote relaxation and camaraderie between classes. This event is designed to help students connect and unwind, rejuvenating them for the busy academic schedule ahead while reinforcing the sense of community that FEI prides itself on.To conclude the week, FEI is hosting an Adult Cooking Workshop – Latin Fiesta Night at Doral Central Park on Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. This hands-on cooking class promises an enjoyable evening infused with fun, food, and learning. Participants will relish the chance to learn new culinary techniques while enjoying gourmet dishes with paired drinks. Menu highlights for the evening include:- Appetizer: Tostones with avocado crème and mango pico - Main Course: Mojo-marinated skirt steak with yuca mash and chimichurri - Dessert: Dulce de leche lava cake Tickets for the workshop are priced at $40 per person, providing excellent value for an immersive culinary experience perfect for couples, friends, or solo food enthusiasts."At FEI, we believe that food has the power to bring people together," said Chef Maria Gonzalez, Director of the Culinary Arts program at FEI.
