Maystone Management Expands Baltimore Management Portfolio With Targeted Condo Acquisition via Affiliate Entity
Maystone Management LLC, a private equity real estate and investment management firm, is pleased to announce that an affiliate of the firm has acquired a condominium at Shelburne Court, a well-located residential community in Baltimore, Maryland.
The transaction represents a continuation of Maystone’s targeted strategy – executed through affiliates – to acquire assets with long-term upside potential and operational efficiencies.
“We remain focused on identifying opportunities that align with our investment thesis, regardless of transaction size.” said Jacob Altshuler, Managing Principal at Maystone Management. “Shelburne Court is a well-situated asset in a desirable submarket, and we look forward to integrating this unit into our growing commercial and residential portfolio.”
The newly acquired unit will be managed by Maystone Management. “We already manage assets in the immediate area and are familiar with the dynamics of this submarket,” Altshuler added.
Among other real estate, Maystone Management manages the Metro Center Shopping Center on Reisterstown Road, home to multiple retail tenants including Papa John’s Pizza, Rose Nails, and Tiffany’s Beauty Supply. Altshuler’s brokerage firm, Lexington Street Capital, represented the purchasing entity in its acquisition of the Metro Center.
