His primary focus is to guarantee that Amivie delivers the highest quality service to its clients and their families. Michael is passionate about expanding Amivie’s reach to ensure that more individuals can benefit from the company’s core values: a customer-centric approach, an unwavering commitment to quality, and a dedication to its exceptional, well-trained staff.

Since Michael assumed the role of CEO in 2017, Amivie has undergone a period of rapid growth, expanding its services across six states and now serving over 6,000 individuals.

Before joining Amivie, Michael held the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Virtua Health System. During his tenure at Virtua, he served in various leadership roles that spanned all aspects of the healthcare system, equipping him with a broad understanding of healthcare operations and strategy.

Michael’s contributions to the healthcare sector have been recognized with a Regents award from the American College of Healthcare Executives and by being named a top “40 under 40” leader by NJBiz. He has also demonstrated his commitment to the community by serving as a board member for non-profit organizations, including Samaritan Hospice and Healthcare.

With over three decades of diverse healthcare leadership experience, Michael’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Rutgers University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from St. Joseph’s University. He is also a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, further attesting to his expertise and standing in the healthcare field.

Michael has been married for 33 years and is a father to three daughters and a grandfather to six.
