Class Acts: Rotary Club Honors Boca’s Best Teachers At 40th Annual Awards Celebration March 26, 2026, From 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

For four decades, the Rotary Club of Boca Raton Sunrise has proudly celebrated the educators who shape our future. On Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., the tradition continues with the 40th Annual Teacher of the Year Awards Celebration at The Studio at Mizner Park.

“This event is a reminder that great communities are built on the dedication of great teachers,” said Rotarian Frank Barbieri. “The Teacher of the Year Awards give us the opportunity to shine a light on the passion, creativity, and commitment these educators bring to their classrooms every day.”

Since its founding in 1987 by Rotarian and former Palm Beach County School Board Chairman Frank Barbieri, the event has recognized more than 700 outstanding teachers from Boca Raton’s public schools. What began with just four honorees has grown into a signature community celebration spotlighting 23 exceptional educators each year.

The evening will feature:

  • A gourmet cocktail reception and desserts prepared by the talented West Boca High School Academy of Culinary Arts
  • Performances by the Spanish River Jazz Ensemble and the Boca Raton High School Choral Group
  • Opening ceremonies by the Olympic Heights High School Color Guard
  • A multimedia presentation honoring each teacher

The Rotary Club of Boca Raton Sunrise is proud to once again partner with the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce Golden Bell Education Foundation to honor the men and women inspiring the next generation.

Sponsorship opportunities remain available. For more information about the event, or to get involved, visit www.rotarybocasunrise.org.
