The ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:30 PM featured a heartfelt tribute from Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Willis, who shared her own fond memories of dining at The Original Pancake House Northwest Highway for many years and praised the restaurant's enduring role in the community.
