STAMFORD, CT, September 23, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Avon Theatre Film Center is proud to announce that legendary music executive Clive Davis will receive the 2025 Avon Theatre Lifetime Achievement Award on Tuesday, October 14 at the Avon Theatre - Deborah & Chuck Royce Cinema Arts Center in Stamford, Connecticut.

In a special last-minute addition, Paul Shaffer — celebrated musician, bandleader, and longtime David Letterman collaborator — will make a guest appearance at the Gala to pay a musical tribute to his friend and industry icon.

Clive Davis, a five-time Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, has influenced the careers of Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen, Aretha Franklin, Santana, Alicia Keys, and many others. The evening will showcase a retrospective of his six-decade impact on music and film, featuring special performances and tributes.

Proceeds from the Gala benefit the Avon Theatre's nonprofit mission of independent film programming, education, and cultural outreach.

About Clive Davis:
Clive Davis began his career at Columbia Records where he was appointed president in 1967 and signed such legendary rock artists as Sly and the Family Stone, Earth, Wind & Fire, Billy Joel, Janis Joplin, Santana, Bruce Springsteen, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Aerosmith and Chicago.
