Jessica Hughes Awarded Skarin Law Group's 2025 Scholarship
EL SEGUNDO, CA, November 14, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jessica Hughes has been named as the 2025 recipient of the Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship from Skarin Law Group. Ms. Hughes is attending High Point University School of Law. Upon graduating, she intends to practice family law.
Skarin Law Group started the Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship to recognize law students who exemplify educational excellence, leadership, and a commitment to serve. The $1,000 award can be used to offset tuition, fees, books, or other educational expenses. To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must submit an essay about how they have made a difference in their local communities.
Jessica is the founder of Fostering a Better Home. Driven by her passion for child advocacy, Jessica wrote, "I created this initiative to raise awareness about the needs of children in the foster care system and to advocate for reforms that would ensure more stable, compassionate care. Through this platform, I have coordinated events for foster families, including seasonal drives and family gatherings that provide much-needed support and connection."
