Truro Community Kitchen Launches Virtual Auction to Fight Hunger

The Truro Community Kitchen (TCK) is launching its fourth annual virtual auction from November 22 to December 2, 2025, through the Bidding For Good platform. This crucial fundraising event features an exciting array of items including Broadway tickets, travel packages, and artwork created by local Truro artisans. All proceeds directly support TCK's mission to provide free, nutritious meals to community members facing food insecurity, particularly important given rising food costs, a tight job market, and reductions in federal food aid. The organization, founded in 2020, has expanded its services to include monthly community dinners open to residents of Truro, Provincetown, and Wellfleet, hosted at the Truro Central School.

According to Wendy Lurie, TCK Co-Founder and Board President, the auction represents a vital opportunity for community members to support TCK's mission while receiving something valuable in return.
