MBRF and UNDP Launch 'Future Skills Academy' to Empower People Across the Arab World

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have launched the 'Future Skills Academy' as part of the 'Knowledge Project' to support the empowerment of people across the Arab world. The initiative was announced during the 'Digitalization for Sustainable Development' event hosted by the UNDP, with the presence of dignitaries from the Arab region. The academy aims to empower individuals through educational programmes, enhance their professional development, and prepare them for future employment opportunities, thus promoting sustainable economic development in the region. It also plans to expand its reach to make its programmes accessible to more than a million people and address unemployment challenges by bridging the gap between job opportunities and the skill sets of fresh graduates. The academy will offer a diverse range of certified and specialised programmes, designed to equip students, professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, and government officials with essential future skills.
